This piece was written as part of the requirements for my SEO training certification. It's designed to draw massive organic, qualified traffic to the publisher, awai.com. It also teaches the principles of SEO content writing to students of digital copywriting. Writing the piece involved a content audit, extensive keyword research, and recommending images and other media to accompany the piece.
For my work, I was awarded a perfect score from the reviewers and paid $5,000. The submission consisted of this piece and two others like it.
Each month, I write an original, value-packed article to share with my Thrive with Rebekah newsletter subscribers via email and on LinkedIn. My goal is to provide valuable content marketing tips for those working on growing sustainable and impact-driven brands. Here, I shared some of my SEO strategy tactics with subscribers.
This project was completed on spec for American Writers and Artists Institute, a leading provider of copywriting training programs. As part of the project, I wrote completely new materials for the "Digital Copywriter's Handbook," including the product page, order page, confirmation page, confirmation email, and email onboarding.
Every month, I create and send an email newsletter for subscribers of my Thrive with Rebekah newsletter. I write an original article, film a video, and include other valuable updates for my subscribers related to marketing for sustainable brands.
As part of my content strategist role for a meditation app, I focused on developing assets that would keep users engaged and provide ongoing learning opportunities in the app. My main contributions were to: 1) Work closely with stakeholders, content director, and others to develop and document a content strategy 2) Write content to support the user experience 3) Provide ongoing analytics and conduct user research to assess effectiveness.
The result was that users were more enthusiastic about our content, and felt we were providing better support after their meditation course.
As part of my work for the TM Community app team, my team had the interesting challenge of creating App Store graphics and descriptions that would appeal to invited users, but not create too much hype around this invitation-only mobile application. I worked with designers and stakeholders to craft copy that would clearly state the benefits of the app, while also communicating that the app wasn't yet open to the general public.
For this project, I wrote a keyword-rich blog post to drive traffic to the site. This project was for the popular podcast "Marathon Training Academy," where the hosts sell their online membership program, virtual races, and other products and services.
As part of my content strategy for a not-for-profit organization offering courses and meditation retreats, I began a monthly email newsletter to speak to a very niche audience. Newsletters offered a mixture of original content that I produced, and also linked directly to course pages. As part of this project, I created the newsletter strategy and schedule, produced monthly blog content, wrote the email copy, and sent each newsletter out on schedule.
The TM Community app team needed to create a quick and descriptive website that would be appealing to our invitation-only mobile app user base. Together with the design team, I worked on the messaging and copy for the website.
For two years, I've written monthly articles for Wealthy Web Writer, a membership site for freelance writers. Articles I've written for this publication offer freelancers resources and tips to grow their businesses and stay on top of the industry.
I have written and designed all the materials on my website, including home page copy, about copy, services, and more. As part of this project I created a lead-gen piece, the "User Experience Email Marketing Checklist," as well as a welcome message for new subscribers to my newsletter.
